How many pallets will one roll wrap?
It depends on roll length, which varies by brand, and on how you wrap. As a working figure, a standard 1.2 x 1 m pallet loaded 1.5 m high takes 12 to 15 passes with three base turns and 50% overlap. Ask the sales desk for the metres and net weight per roll on the current batch and we will work out your cost per pallet.
Is 23 micron thick enough for my loads?
For evenly stacked cartons and bagged goods, yes. 23 micron is the common mid-weight hand gauge and holds a normal mixed pallet. It struggles with sharp corners, exposed metal edges and very dense loads, where it punctures and unzips in transit. Use corner boards, or ask the sales desk about a heavier gauge, before wrapping machinery or tiles.
How should I store the rolls in a UAE warehouse?
Stand them upright on a shelf or pallet, indoors, out of direct sunlight and away from anything hot. Film left in the sun or in a parked truck loses cling and tears more easily, and rolls stored on their side develop flat spots that make the film pull unevenly. Keep the wrap on the roll until use and work through older stock first.
Can I order a single roll?
No. The carton of six rolls is the smallest unit and one carton is the minimum order. Six rolls is a normal few weeks for a small despatch bay. If you wrap dozens of pallets a day, volume tiers lower the unit price as your carton count rises, so tell the sales desk your weekly pallet count and ask for a quotation.
