Will this fit my laptop?
Only if the machine has an M.2 slot wired for NVMe and long enough for a 2280 card. Check the service manual or the slot marking: some laptops accept 2242 or 2260 lengths only, and some M.2 slots are SATA-only, where this drive will not work. Does it work in a PCIe 4.0 or 5.0 motherboard?
Yes. PCIe is backward compatible, so the drive runs in a newer slot at its own generation speed rather than the slot's.
